Parineeti Chopra‘s much-awaited sports biopic, Saina has got a release date. The film is all set to hit the theatres on 26th 2021. Helmed by Amol Gupte, the film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar‘s T-Series.
Headlined the Parineeti, the sports biopic brings on the silver screen the journey of one of the greatest athletes of the country, Saina Nehwal. The actress has trained extensively for the film.
The film also features Eshan Naqvi alongside her and Manav Kaul as her coach. Parineeti took to her social media to share a teaser and the poster of the film.

Earlier, actress Shraddha Kapoor was supposed to play the ace badminton player. She had even shot some parts for it. However, the actress had to leave the project in the middle due to her date issues. The film was initially set to release to drop on September 2020, but due to the Coronavirus led pandemic it was delayed.
