After a lot of confusion surrounding the title of the film, the makers of Spider Man 3 have finally decided to let us in on the real title they’ve decided to with – Spider Man: No Way Home.
Just yesterday, Zendaya, Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon took to their social medias to share some never-seen-before stills from the film and shared three different titles. Tom’s title read “Phone Home,” referring to the the 1982 film “E.T.,” Zendaya’s was “Home Slice” and Jacob’s shared the title “Home-Wrecker”. Since all Spiderman films go with the word ‘Home’, they just came up with some wild options and fans didn’t take long to realise they were being trolled.
It is a running joke when it comes to Tom Holland as he shared important details of his previous superhero film before it was public knowledge. The makers played along with it and sure did create the hype around the title reveal.
In a video posted by Tom soon after, he, Zendaya and Jacob are seen looking very flustered as director Jon Watt gave them a fake title, again. Tom exclaims that he doesn’t understand why Jon keeps doing things. To this, Jacob says it’s quite obvious because Tom always spoils things. When he asks to name one thing he has spoiled, Zendaya retorts saying, “your last movie title”! As they are walking past, the camera zooms in on the white board which carries the actual (hopefully) title of the film – Spiderman 3: No Way Home!
The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios film is all set to release in theatres on December 17, 2021.
