‘Mahabharata’ is one epic tale that has inspired many film-makers around the globe. However, you might have barely come across stories on celluloid which are presented from Suryaputra Mahavir Karna‘s perspective. Bringing this story on screen for the very first time are Pooja Entertainment‘s Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani in the form of ‘Suryaputra Mahavir Karna’.
The film is set to be one of Pooja Entertainment‘s biggest and grandest projects, envisioned on a large scale with great attention to detail and benchmark visual effects. Jackky shared the announcement and wrote, “Growing up, I have always been intrigued by an unsung warrior from the Mahabharata – #Karna. The multilingual project will be written and directed by R S Vimal. It will highlight the events of the epic tale of Mahabharata from Suryaputra Mahavir Karna‘s point of view and is one of the most awaited films for us in the coming times, for sure.
The makers have also roped in India’s celebrated poet, Dr. Kumar Vishwas to pen the dialogues, lyrics and additional screenplay of the film. This marks Dr. Vishwas’ first-ever association with any Indian film. The veteran poet routinely gives performances in which he recites his poetry and demonstrates his love for Hindi, Urdu, and Sanskrit literature.
‘Suryaputra Mahavir Karna’ will be made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam and is all set to blow our minds with its storytelling and scale. I sure cannot wait for this film to hit the theatres! What about you guys?
