After a long, forceful yet much-needed sabbatical, the last weekend saw a few Bollywood celebrities step out in their stylish best to grace a red carpet event—the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2021. Sure, events like promotions, weddings and more have resumed but it’s the red carpet events that I’m sure all of us missed, thoroughly! That said, we spotted 9 B-town stars who arrived at the prestigious ceremony leaving no sartorial stone unturned! Missed to see who won what and what they wore? We give you all the deets, below!
1. Kiara Advani
Kiara received the Best Critics Award for her performance in Guilty. For the event, Kiara turned heads in an all-black lehenga set from SVA By Sonam and Paras Modi. She wore a glimmering V-neck cropped blouse with a flouncy lehenga covered in black beads and topped it off with a plain black dupatta. A diamond choker completed her look for the evening.
2. Nora Fatehi
Nora was awarded as the Performer of the Year for her outstanding moves on-screen and she graced the ceremony looking like royalty in a chiffon, mint green saree by Rukhmani featuring a delicate gold embellished border. Two-tier strings of pearls with diamond and ruby-encrusted pendants, pearl-drop earrings and a statement ring from Farah Khan were her jewellery picks for the evening.
3. Sushmita Sen
Sushmita bagged the award as the Best Actress in the web series, Aarya. The actor attended the function in a stunning black Givenchy gown with a mermaid cut and a diamond-shaped cutout on the bust. A glossy black belt cinched the gown at the waist and added more definition to her slick look. Dainty diamond-drop earrings and a cocktail ring added some sparkle to her all-black OOTN.
4. Vikrant Massey
Vikrant took the award home as the Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Chhapaak. The actor looked sharp in a grey Raghavendra Rathore bandhgala suit for the evening. Glossy black formal shoes added the perfect finishing touch to his look!
