Janhvi Kapoor made her debut with the film Dhadak in 2018 and is now one of the most sought after new faces in the industry. Recently, we learnt that her father, producer Boney Kapoor is also making his acting debut with Luv Ranjan‘s next alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Shraddha Kapoor. Now, he just revealed that his other daughter, Khushi Kapoor is also set for her debut very soon.
Khushi is Boney and the late Sridevi Kapoor‘s younger daughter and there has been a lot of speculation regarding her film debut.
Speaking to Bombay Times, the producer-actor said that Khushi is keen on acting and that we are set to hear an announcement very soon. He also spoke about how he won’t be launching his daughter under his banner.
He shares that while his brother Anil Kapoor was an established actor but he became a little too indulgent with his brother Sanjay Kapoor. He adds that he is glad Sanjay is doing some great work on OTT now and playing interesting characters. He also wants Khushi to find her own footing in the industry like that and says she will be launched by someone he respects and feels safe and secure about.
Interestingly, even Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi weren’t launched by their father and made their debuts with Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions respectively.
Now, I sure cannot wait to know more about Khushi’s debut!
