9 celebrities we spotted over the last couple of weeks in sweatshirts:
1. Shilpa Shetty Kundra
The actor was seen getting dinner with husband, Raj Kundra over the weekend. For the occasion, Shilpa opted to keep things highly cool and casual in the sartorial department. She picked an oversized sweatshirt that reached till her mid-thigh. She gave her ebony number a lavish upgrade by pairing it with Louis Vuitton‘s Silhouette Ankle Booties and a LV monogrammed box bag. Sans any heavy jewellery except a few rings, Shilpa rounded off her look with a glossy red lip, filled-in brows and some eyeliner and mascara.
If you want to switch things up for a date night with your beau, do like Shilpa and ditch your playful playsuits and flirty midis and give your oversized sweatshirts a try instead. Sexy yet cool and casual!
2. Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia
Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia seem to be going in and out of Bombay quite often, given their work responsibilities. And each time, the duo steps out making a case for airport attire that’s balanced between comfort, versatility and style. Around this time, the couple wore black separates from Bhaane for their flight out of Bombay. While Angad wore a black hoodie with black track pants, Neha wore a black midi dress with a hoodie and a drawstring detail. The full-sleeved number came with mini side slits and a pocket on the front. Both Angad and Neha teamed their outfits with white Nike sneakers and black sunglasses. Neha’s white Yves Saint Laurent tote bag served as her arm candy for the day.
3. Karisma Kapoor
Have we said this before? That Karisma’s off-duty style is the most relatable one and quite fun, as well? The actress can oscillate between basketball shorts to flirty dresses to basics like white tee and jeans to oversized sweatshirts oh-so-effortlessly. It’s remarkable! Midi dresses and skirts hold a special place for her in her heart and for running an errand in the city two days back, Karisma mixed her love for them with sweatshirts in the most millennial-friendly way possible. She picked a multihued floral midi skirt and teamed it with a thigh-grazing black hoodie. Black slides with plumage detailing, a matte black top-handle bag and a blue mask rounded off her casual look for the evening.
4. Anushka Sharma
Anushka recently gave birth to a baby girl and prior to her delivery, the actor was giving moms-to-be some major maternity-wear inspiration. Like Bebo, fuss-free dresses also won Anushka’s vote of approval during her pregnancy. A couple weeks back when the actor and husband Virat Kohli stepped out for a doctor’s appointment, Anushka was photographed in what can probably be called ‘the best iteration of the sweatshirt’. The actor wore a MM6 Maison Margiela sweatshirt dress featuring full sleeves, making it a perfect pick for the current season. A series of black and white portraits were printed on the front of the dress making for a fun and interesting print. Anushka picked a pair of white sneakers to complete her effortless look for the day.
From a quick brunch with your girlfriends to a coffee run or even a chill dinner, a dress like Anushka’s will serve as the perfect outfit for all kinds of casual occasions.
5. Alia Bhatt
For a work trip in the city, Alia mixed three of 2020’s raging trends—oversized clothing, sweatshirt and tie-dye. A lazy girl-approved look; an outfit like Alia is truly meant for days when you want to look put-together without actually putting any effort in dressing up. The bright and cheery allure of tie-dye will instantly lift any outfit. Flared pants with frayed hems will give the look an edge whilst retaining the comfort. So if you want to lounge in but not in your jammies, a look like Alia’s will be your best bet.
6. Malaika Arora
Malaika’s penchant for comfy separates is well established by now and the actor’s off-duty wardrobe is full of them. From luxe sweatshirt dresses, roomy pants, breezy sweat-sets and more, Malaika’s got them all! Recently, the actor, fitness star and pro dancer was giving her long time friend, Kareena Kapoor Khan a visit at her residence in Bandra. For the evening, Malaika opted to take the comfy route again with a grey cropped sweatshirt and light-washed mom jeans. The sweatshirt featured an embellished quote that said ‘Girl Boss’ in lemon yellow and orange beads. She rounded off her look with a pair of white and red sneakers and a non-negotiable mask.
7. Vaani Kapoor
Vaani’s outfit is another lazy-girl outfit you can bookmark for those moody days. The actress was spotted in the city in all-black look comprising an oversized, Givenchy sweatshirt and black leggings. A Fendi bag and black sneakers completed her look and a vibrant blue facemask added a pop of colour to her monochrome outfit.
8. Disha Patani
Nobody does athleisure quite like Disha does and her sporty off-duty looks are proof. Be it sports bras for coffee runs or utilitarian pants at the airport or basketball shorts for all kinda of occasions, Disha is a pro at making sporty look hella stylish. Her most recent look is one you’ll love if you like basketball shorts and the colour pink. The actress was photographed in the city wearing a fuchsia pink sweatshirt with a pair of black cycling shorts. Apart from the colour, what made her sweatshirt even more interesting or rather fun was the Donald Duck motif on the front. Disha paired her outfit with a baby pink Yankees cap and white slides from Tommy Hilfiger.
