Baking cookies is so therapeutic, don’t you think? But if you’re someone who bakes often and is bored of repeating their usual recipes, we’ve got something for you. This rich chocolate brownie and walnut cookies recipe by California Walnuts is so easy to make and so delectable that you won’t be able to stop after eating just one. What You’ll Need
190g of chocolate (70% cocoa)
30g of butter
75g of sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
A pinch of salt
30g of flour
70g of chopped California walnuts
Here’s How You Can Put It All Together
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Step 2: Chop the chocolate and put ¾ of it in a bowl with butter. Melt them in the water bath or in the microwave and keep it aside.
Step 3: In a large bowl, put the sugar and eggs and whisk until they foam. In another bowl, sift the cocoa, baking powder, salt, baking soda and flour then combine the eggs with the cocoa and flour mixture and knead the dough.
Step 4: Once the dough is uniform, add the melted chocolate and continue mixing. Finally, include the walnuts. Place this mix in the fridge for 30 minutes. Separate the cookies well from each other by placing 6 in the tray.

Step 5: Bake for about 15 minutes until the cookies are toasted on the edges, but not in the center. Pass the cookies to a rack and allow them to cool completely.
