Ever since we got to know about Ali Fazal starring in the screen adaptation of Agatha Christie‘s Death On The Nile, I’ve been super excited about it. It sure is a proud feeling seeing him in an international film alongside actors like Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Russel Brand among others.
The cast seem to have bonded well through the making of the film. While their physical meeting might’ve been pushed by a year, Ali is said to be in touch with his Death on the Nile co-stars. In a chat with Delhi Times recently, Fazal spoke about how his co-star, Russel Brand kept him sane through the months of the lockdown. On reading that, Brand took to Twitter and retweeted the article saying, “Ali Fazal is a beautiful man, a terrific actor and had the best damn moustache on the movie.”
Check out his tweet:
That indeed is sweet, and we agree! On watching the trailer, we can’t help but notice how good Ali looks with that moustache!
The Kenneth Branagh directorial was expected to hit screens this October but will now open in September 2021. Based on Agatha Christie’s book by the same name, the film is an extension of Branagh’s last Christie outing – Murder on the Orient Express. This film stars Gal Gadot, Emma Mackey, Armie Hammer, Letitia Wright, Annette Bening with Branagh himself playing Hercule Poirot.
