Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s cop universe kickstarted with Ajay Devgn as Singham, followed by Ranveer Singh as Simmba and now, the audience awaits the superstar Akshay Kumar to join the gang as Sooryavanshi. The makers of the film are currently waiting for the ongoing pandemic to simmer down before they make the announcement of the release date of the film. However, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Rohit is chalking out plans to take his cop universe ahead.
The report further mentioned that the climax of the Akshay Kumar starrer-Sooryavanshi will lead to Singham 3 with Ajay Devgn taking over the charge from Veer Sooryavanshi. The film revolves around Akshay’s character going to great lengths to stop terror attacks in Mumbai, and they successfully stop the same in the climax of the film by capturing the negative leads, only to discover that the game is not over yet and the actual mastermind behind all this is still safely hiding at his whereabouts. And the real mastermind behind all this is none other than Jackie Shroff, who will continue to be a part of the universe as the negative lead in Singham 3.
The publication also mentioned the basic draft of Singham 3 is ready, however, the filmmaker is unsure on his way forward currently, as he is shooting for Cirkus and also has his heart set on Golmaal 4 for which he will begin shooting by the end of 2021. However, Rohit also doesn’t want much of a gap between Singham 3 and Sooryavanshi, since it’s a story that works in continuity.
It would be surely interesting to see what route does the filmmaker takes after filming the Ranveer Singh starrer-Cirkus.
