The last few months have been quite busy for Bhumi Pednekar with two back-to-back film releases, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare and Durgamati. But the last few months have also been all about glam and style for the star. Thanks to all the film promotions, cover shoots, festivals and the occasional but inevitable dress-up episodes at home. Her Instagram will give you a peek into her ultra-fashionable days, from cocktail gowns, loungewear, ethnic-wear to power-dressing. Enter pantsuits. Only a few weeks back, Bhumi dropped a statement look in a multicoloured pantsuit from Limerick by Abirr ‘n Nanki for a promotional event.Declaring her love for the staple once again, Bhumi gave pantsuits a try not once but twice in a matter of days, subsequently proving that pantsuits are the ultimate staple of power-dressing. Scroll below for pictures!
1. In Nikhil Thampi
The star announced her association with Count Us In—a community working towards reversing climate change—in a purple pantsuit made by Nikhil Thampi. The monochrome pantsuit featured a rosegold floral detailing in metal on one of the lapels and matching button detailing on the sleeves. The actor styled her suit with clear heels and went sans any jewellery for her pantsuit to bask in the spotlight!
2. In Dior
Pantsuits are as is a winter-approved and appropriate attire but Bhumi’s Dior suit took things to the next level. And by “things” we mean making a pantsuit cosy and snuggly. Wondering how? Courtesy of the fabric. The suit consisted of a black rib-knit blazer and pants whose hems were made from a synthetic fabric. The actor wore a striped shirt underneath with a black tie for maximum impact. A black Lady Dior bag and meshed shoes rounded off her boardroom-chic look.
