When the country went into a nation-wide lockdown in March, most of what all of us had planned for the year came to an abrupt halt. But as the country adapted to the new reality and school-from-home along with work-from-home became our best bet, everything fashion-related was pushed to the sidelines. And for obvious reasons no? Who’s thinking about OOTDs when you’re locked at home 24/7! And with that, our daily dose of celebrity spottings also took a hit! But, ever since the restrictions eased down, movement—out and about in the city, country or world—has been on a rise with some celebrities getting back to work while some taking that much-deserved vacation. Now for the longest time, we kept spotting Shraddha Kapoor in her quarantine-approved loungewear whenever she stepped out. But yesterday, she broke her sartorial spell with an enchanting outfit that deserves all your attention. More pictures ahead!
Shraddha Kapoor is a vision in this blue and black gown:
Shraddha was attending the digital audition of India Pro Music League along with father, Shakti Kapoor and actor, Rajkummar Rao. For the event, the actress was styled by Namrata Deepak in a lovely gown made by designers, Gauri and Nainika. The colour-blocked gown featured a black bust, and a shiny blue body from the waist below. The high-waisted dress also came with a voluminous drape detail that transformed into a cascading train. The veil net sleeves of the dress further amped up the feminine vibe of the gown! Letting her gown take centre-stage, Shraddha went minimal with her accessories. Silver teardrop earrings with a deep blue stone and a dainty ring from Amrapali Jewels completed her look.
Makeup artists, Shraddha Naik and Nikita Menon gave the actor a flushed look with black smokey eyes. Lightly contoured cheeks and blush pink lips with her mane left open in soft waves, was her beauty for the evening.
What do you think of the actor’s look? Wouldn’t you say she made one helluva statement after a sartorial sabbatical thanks to 2020? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
