My favourite part of the week is when I look back at all my favourite Bollywood celebrities and their fun and fancy OOTD’s. It’s even more interesting when you group them together because you’re able to analyse and see a pattern of emerging trends. Some are trends to look forward to in the near future and some are trends to sport in the present day. Whichever it is, it gives me immense joy. Scroll on to see some Bollywood looks that inspired me this week.
Here’s a look at Bollywood’s casual and chic outfit options for the week:
1) Rakul Preet
Rakul Preet opts for a cropped grey sweatshirt that she pairs with black jeans. The jeans are ripped at the knees and she accessorises with a pair of white sneakers. Love how relaxed and comfy this outfit looks and is definitely perfect for air travel. Doesn’t this Bollywood beauty always nail her airport OOTD’s?
2) Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt is a true blue Bollywood star and always steps out in the best of the best styles. She wears a matching olive coloured jacket and jeans with floral motifs from Desigual. She styles it with a tank top with black lace inserts and black boots. To accessorise she opts for the Gucci Garden, hunter green handbag with a cat face motif in gold.
3) Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon has always been a trendsetter, especially back in the ’90s. She delivered Bollywood blockbusters one after the other and many trends that we couldn’t get enough of. For her airport attire, the actress opts for an olive-toned, longline denim jacket that she pairs with a white tank top and blue jeans. The combination is a classic and we really can’t fault the look. Boots, sunglasses on the head and a nude pink tote bag finish out her look.
4) Nora Fatehi
Nora Fatehis is an upcoming Bollywood starlet, the internet doesn’t seem to get enough of her badass moves and her tasteful fashion choices too. She wears a formal pink and white stripe, one-shoulder blouse with high-waist orange trousers from Aknvas. Stud earrings from Arvino and gold Jimmy Choo heels add to the glamour and simplicity of her look. She tops off her look with a Louis Vuitton iconic hatbox in a classic Monogram canvas. The bag costs around 3 lakh rupees.
5) Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon following suite like all of Bollywood’s leading ladies and getting on that athleisure track life. She pairs her black and pink Adidas hoodie with black leggings. She accessorises her look with a pop of colour by adding a pair of pink shoes to this look.
6) Tara Sutaria
Tara Sutaria is that one Bollywood bombshell who is really loyal to her black and blue combination. She’s always seen in a casual black tank or tube top with a pair of jeans looking like an absolute star. But for this particular look, she goes all-black. She wears a black Adidas tube top with black cycling shorts, she ties and oversized jacket around her waist to add a touch of cool to her overall look. Finally, she opts for a classic shoe, my favourite the Nike Cortez.
7) Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone is one Bollywood babe who loves to doll up, her style is sexy and feminine. For this look, she wears a fitted orange tee, that she pairs with a lighter orange, satin midi-skirt. She accessorises her look with a pair of strappy silver sandals and adds a pop of colour to her monochromatic look with stark pink lips. Love the energy and vibe of this look.
8) Karisma Kapoor
Karisma Kapoor looks like she’s enjoying Bollywood’s relaxed vibe, most of her outfits feature one form of loungewear. For this look, she wears an oversized black sweater with a pair of baggy light blue jeans. White sneakers, a silver chain link necklace and oversized glasses really make this ensemble look cool AF, no?
9) Disha Patani
Disha Patani doesn’t wait too long to get her hands on athleisure looks. She is one Bollywood starlet who really doesn’t think too much about her fashion combinations but always comes off looking extremely stylish and put together. For her airport OOTD, she wears the mint green tracksuit bottoms from the Adidas X IVY PARK collection. She styles it with an off-white long sleeves, crop-top and a pair of white Adidas sneakers. To complete her look, she carries her Louis Vuitton sling bag.
