Remo D’Souza‘s sudden health scare did shock everyone in the industry last weekend. The director-choreographer suffered a sudden heart attack and was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital for treatment.
His wife, Lizelle D’Souza, in a statement to Indian Express shared that after going through an angioplasty surgery, Remo is doing better now. His friends and colleagues from the industry like Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, among others have been visiting him at the hospital and checking on his health. One of them has been actor Aamir Ali.
The actor took to his social media recently to share a powerful image, hinting at the director’s health. He posted a selfie with him looking at the camera while Remo’s back facing us as he struck a heroic pose.

His wife Lizelle also shared a glimpse of her husband recouping at the hospital in a video on Instagram. The video had the song from Imagine Dragons playing in the background while Remo tapped his feet to it. She wrote, “Dancing with the feet is one thing, dancing with the heart is another….@remodsouza Thank you everyone for the prayers and blessings.”
