After a successful release of Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare alongside Konkona Sen, Bhumi Pednekar will now be seen in Akshay Kumar-produced, Durgamati. The horror/thriller feature is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on the 11th of December, 2020. And, so, naturally, we’ve been spotting a whole lot of Bhumi for the promotions of her film. With less than 24 hours for the film to hit the screens, the team of Durgamati gathered yesterday for a promotional event, where they showcased a short clip from the film against a backdrop of water. And the actor’s outfit for the evening was in tandem with the grandeur of the event. She was styled by Pranita Shetty and it’s safe to say, she succeeded in dropping a statement-making look! Bhumi Pednekar’s dress came with an interesting detail:
The actor looked fierce in an Amit Aggarwal number for the evening. The full-length, body-hugging dress came in a vibrant red hue, enough to spot from miles away. The silhouette featured a dramatic thigh-high slit and the designer’s signature metallic cord detail in the form of a wave on one side of the dress. The colour of the dress is, in fact, symbolic to Bhumi’s main costume in the film. Given the bold nature of the dress, Bhumi passed on any accessories and completed her look with red sandals from Malone Souliers.
The star’s hair and makeup for the event was as stunning as her dress! The actor went for black smokey eyes with a tinge of red on the crease. A generous dose of blush with lightly contoured cheeks and a glossy mauve lip with her mane pulled back in a slick bun, was her beauty look for the event!
