Now Akshay Kumar‘s Durgamati is next on the list and just ahead of the trailer release, the makers dropped the motion poster.Producer Akshay Kumar took to his social media and wrote, “It’s payback time! In the motion poster, Bhumi Pednekar can be seen donning a red saree and posing powerfully on a throne. The revenge-horror stars Bhumi Pednekar, Jisshu Sengupta, Mahi Gill and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles.
Durgamati is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Bhaagamathie. Talking to PTI about her role Bhumi Pednekar was quoted as saying, “The film is going to take me in horror space. It is the most challenging and special film for me, as it is for the first time, the responsibility will be on my shoulders. It is something I’m most pressured and excited about. Akshay sir is a genius, I respect him.”
The movie has been backed by Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar, produced by Vikram Malhotra and it has been helmed by G Ashok.
