Fatima Sana Shaikh just gave us a power packed performance in Anurag Basu‘s Ludo. She plays the role of a good girl gone bad and is seen fighting off goons and firing off guns at them. In the movie she keeps trying to bail her husband out of jail with the help of Rajkumar Rao’s character. The dark comedy features an ensemble cast with Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Sanya Malhotra.
Fatima has acted in films like Chachi 420 and One 2 Ka 4 as a child artist. However she turned into a household name after Dangal her 2016 release opposite Aamir Khan. In the film she portrayed the character of an Indian wrestler, Geeta Phogat. Fatima seems to be having a great 2020 with the release of both her films back-to-back on Netflix. The other film being Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari a social comedy opposite Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh.
Here’s a look at Fatima Sana Shaikh’s promotional look for Ludo:
1) In Torani
Akshita Singh styles Fatima Sana Shaikh wears a dusty rose pink, mal saree from Torani. The lightweight saree has stunning motifs in silver embroidery and a scalloped selvedge. It also has a matching V-neck saree blouse. The actress styles her look with chandbaali earrings from Anmol Jewellers and rings from Meraki. Silver heels and pink roses accentuated her look further.
2) In Raani
Ok, this look I love because it is totally something that I would invest in all on my own. It’s black and gold and what’s not to love about maxi dresses. For this look, the actress wears a luxurious chiffon dress with gold paisley prints from Raani. The long sleeve dress features a tiered hemline, a velvet yoke with hand beading in antique tones. What I like about this look is that it is just the right amount of glamourous and relaxed. She accessories her look with jewellery from SA.BA Designs and Minerali. Black pointy pumps and a black waist belt finish out her look.
3) In Sabyasachi
Fatima Sana Shaikh wears the iconic floral saree from Sabyasachi. The selvedge features black sequin and the edges of the pallu have fringe details. The base colour of the saree is mint green with orange, pink and yellow flowers. She wears a sticking black sequin blouse and a black Sabyasachi waist belt over the saree. Quite a recent new trend that looks great and holds the saree in place too. She accessorises her look with rose gold earrings from Outhouse and retro sunglasses from Vijay Opticians.
4) In Kalki Fashion
This newcomer looks fantastic in this vintage ensemble. Fatima wears a grey and white striped saree with floral embroidery in some spots. She pairs it with an off-white blouse with a plunging neckline. The bishop sleeves are sheer adding that perfect sexy touch. I really like this saree from Kalki Fashion. She dresses this simple lightweight saree with antique silver earrings and a gorgeous wreath necklace.
5) In Dhruv Kapoor
Fatima Sana Shaikh wears a gorgeous tweed mini dress with a zipper in the front from Dhruv Kapoor. The dress is a unique mix of grey and brown and has oversized lapels. This statement-making dress features padded shoulders and a leather ruffle belt. Her hair and makeup really pull the look together, the boots add a bit of an edge to her ensemble.
6) In KoAi
Fatima Sana Shaikh wears a gorgeous red and white floral printed dress. The dress has ruched long sleeves and vintage-style round buttons that match the dress. A ruffle tier on the hemline creates interesting details on the dress. She accessorises her look with oversized gold hoops from The Slow Studio, a maroon waist belt and tan heels from Oceedee. This dress is perfect to wear for a brunch or garden party, it also works to wear for a house party.
