They say the only way to heal from pain is to do things that make you happy. The passing of veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor, would have surely been difficult for Neetu Kapoor and her family. But, with her children — Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni‘s — encouragement, she has signed on a film and is back to work on sets after a long time. She will be seen in the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, directed by Raj Mehta, opposite Anil Kapoor.
Neetu Ji posted a picture of the entire team — that includes Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli— as they left to Chandigarh to kick-start shoot just last week. She wrote that she is nervous about going back to work, but knows Rishi Ji is holding her hand through it all. Her friends and family encouraged her and showered her with love and luck. Anil Kapoor also tweeted about how he is super excited to work with her and is there for her throughout this journey. Now, Anupam Kher, who met with her in Chandigarh, also took to his social media to fondly remember his time spent with both Rishi Ji and Neetu Ji in New York, and expressed his excitement about Neetu Ji going back to work.
Sharing a few throwback pictures, he wrote:
Dearest Neetu!! Meeting you last night in Chandigarh without #RishiJi triggered off so many memories of us together in New York. Our shared tears made the bond of those moments stronger. These pics are a reminder of how #ChintuJi had a larger than life persona. I am so happy that you are working. You have made him the happiest person by doing so. We, your friends are always there for you. Remember “There are some relationships which are like a pause button on a tape recorder. They always start from where you left them!” Love and prayers.
