Firstly we are still living in a nightmare, so Diwali celebrations were decidedly low-key. Most of Bollywood kept it simple and shared space with small groups of people. This year Siddhanth Chaturvedi had a small gathering at his home. Apart from Ananya Panday, Deepika Padukone and Ishaan Khatter were also in attendance at this party. I was thrilled to see that even though we are in dark times, Diwali really did add light to our lives. Don’t you think?
Let’s take a closer look at Ananya Panday’s abstract print maxi dress:
Designer duo Saaksha and Kinni creatively master the art of print play with each of their looks. It’s always a new surprise with each design. Ami Patel styles Ananya Panday is a gorgeous maxi dress from the duo. The red strappy, bustier dress features an asymmetric hemline with a thigh-high slit. She’s definitely bringing a touch of sexy and much more with this look, no? In addition, this abstract multi-print dress also features micro-print detailing. A bold ensemble like this really shines the spotlight on Ananya’s fun and free-spirited personality. She accessorises her look with black strappy heels and silver jhumkis from Amrapali Jewels. In conclusion, this dress is perfect to wear to a Diwali function if you’re not into Indianwear. I would say it effortlessly falls into the Indo-fusion category if paired well with the right accessories.
Ananya Panday keeps her makeup simple and fresh with a monochromatic palette of pinks. A subtle pink eyeshadow and a pink glossy lip add to her glam. Hairstylist Sajan Thapa gives her side-swept wavy touselled hair that works perfectly with this look. I could imagine wanting this hair and makeup with this outfit exactly at a beach party. And it helps that it is relatively easy to accomplish.
