In today’s day and age, we are driven by quality content. There are a plethora of content creators in our country but only a few of them have managed to break the clutter. There are so many men who have taken up content creation as their career and are always entertaining us with their content. However, over a period of time, a few men have really hustled, broken stereotypes and endorsed positive masculinity through their work. So, on the occasion of #InternationalMensDay2020, here are a few men who have managed to inspire and motivate us. They have always tried to bring something new to the table and defined ‘positive masculinity’ through their work.
Check them out:
1. Ranveer Allahbadia a.k.a BeerBiceps
Ranveer is a self-improvement content creator who is a pioneer in his field. We have a lot of love and respect for the kind of mindful content he creates. Not just that, he is one of the first content creators who have spoken about positive masculinity at length. With his videos, he aims to inspire people and break multiple societal stereotypes while he is at it!
2. Amit Bhadana
The talented Amit Bhadana is breaking stereotypes and stigma around hindi=speaking content with his awesome videos on YouTube. He has converted his language into a plus point and in May 2020, he became the first Indian YouTuber to cross 20 million subscribers. He has shown us what confidence looks like and we are so proud of his work.
3. Ashish Chanchlani
Ashish Chanchlani is one content creator who doesn’t need any introduction. He is the second most-subscribed YouTuber in India with more than 22 million subscribers. Through his content, he has always tried to make his audience laugh but also give out a positive message. In fact, in his latest video called ‘The Dealer,‘ he gave out a strong message against eve-teasing. Content creators like him are really defining masculinity for us!
4. Gaurav Taneja
Gaurav Taneja is one of the most loved creators in the country and the whole #FlyingBeast family is just adorable! Apart from being a phenomenal creator, he sets a great example for his audience. In all his videos, Gaurav treats his wife and his family with so much love and respect. We believe, he has set a great standard of behaviour and has positively influenced so many people.
5. Ankush Bahuguna
Ankush is making people aware of what ‘masculinity’ really means through his amazing videos. We love how he is breaking stereotypes around men wearing makeup and showing people what positive masculinity looks like. He is right, people have the right to do whatever they want and their personal choice shouldn’t be based on old societal stereotypes. Also, just putting it out there, makeup is for everyone who likes to use it, it has no gender! 🙂
6. Siddharth Batra
Siddharth Batra is a popular fashion influencer who believes in trying new things and owning every look with utter confidence. We find his content really inspiring because he loves experimenting with fashion and breaking redundant stereotypes. FYI, a crop top looks SO good on him!
These men have genuinely been trying to bring a change and are making people aware of what positive masculinity looks like. So, we wish to take #InternationalMensDay2020 as an occasion to appreciate all their hard work!
