Actor Sidharth Malhotra has been roped in for another film. While he awaits the release of Shershaah, Sidharth has reportedly signed a movie with Shantanu Baghchi. The film will be backed by Amar Butala. According to reports, Amar Butala who was the COO at Salman Khan Productions has reportedly turned independent producer. While the details of the film have not been revealed yet, reports suggest that the film is based on true events.
Meanwhile, the actor will soon kickstart shooting for Thank God. The film will also feature Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is being directed by Indra Kumar who has helmed films like Grand Masti, Total Dhamaal. Sidharth will also reportedly feature in the Hindi remake of South star, Allu Arjun‘s Telugu blockbuster, DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham) and Tamil film Thadam’s Hindi remake. The film will also see Mrunal Thakur. Adding to that, he also has reportedly signed an action espionage thriller with Ronnie Screwvala’s production house.
According to a report by TOI, Shantanu confirmed the news but said he would reveal more after bringing Butala in the loop. He was further quoted as saying, “The film starring Sidharth is based on a true event.”
