Aditya Narayan recently announced that he is set to tie the knot with his sweetheart, Shweta Agarwal. Taking to his Instagram, he revealed that he and Shweta — who acted alongside him in his debut film ‘Shaapit‘ — have been dating for 10 years now and that they are getting married this December.
Now, in a recent interview with Times Of India, he spoke about his wedding and seems like he already has a lot of things planned! They are set to have a mehendi function on November 29th, a temple wedding on December 1st and a reception on December 2nd. Aditya shared that both he and Shweta are going to be dancing together at the sangeet to one of his father, Udit Narayan‘s own songs.
Aditya and Shweta are going to be grooving to the track, ‘Pehla Nasha‘ from the film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. He says that it was love at first sight for him when he met her and that the song is perfect for them!
Speaking about the wedding, he says that due to the pandemic, they are only having close friends and family at the wedding. He shared that they are having a sangeet function on the day of the reception, and added that all the outfits for the wedding are being designed by Shweta herself as she is a fashion designer, too.
Addressing the discussion surrounding his father, Udit’s statement about being “doubly sure before getting married”. He dismissed it saying his father was only joking. He says that it is of course a big commitment, but that his parents were extremely happy for him.
They kickstarted the wedding rituals just yesterday with a Roka ceremony. We too are extremely happy for the couple and wish them all the luck!
