Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are certainly one duo who manage to create fireworks on screen whenever they come together, and just last month, we heard that they are set to team up once again for the remake of Gulzar’s film, Angoor, that’s called ‘Cirkus‘. The film is all set to go on floors this month.
Angoor was an adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s drama, Comedy Of Errors. And Rohit is also looking at filming Cirkus as an adaptation of the Shakespearean play. He was apparently looking at making this film for a long time now, and had bought the rights to the film a long time ago. Then, he is said to have had Shah Rukh Khan in mind to play the lead. Now, it seems like he is confident of creating a super hit with Ranveer, and we are sure it’s going to be one! More so because Ranveer is all set to play a double role in this film which is about twins who are separated at birth.
The film will star Ranveer alongside Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, among others. It will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty and Goa and is all set to release in the winter of 2021.
This sure looks like one mad cast and I cannot wait for all the fun that Cirkus has to offer!
