A few weeks back, Malika Arora took to Instagram to announce that she had tested positive for Covid-19. She had to immediately stop all shooting and quarantine herself for 14 days. In the interim, the lovely Nora Fatehi has been filling in as a judge on the sets of India’s Best Dancer. But, it looks like Malaika is all set to return to shooting for her reality show. That didn’t stop the co-judges, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis from posting emotional farewell notes to Nora on Instagram. The captions are all really heart-warming. This weekend will be her last appearance on the sets of the show.
Malaika Arora has had a rough few weeks and it’s evident from her Instagram posts that she felt stir-crazy from being cooped up at home. She’s gotten back to her exercising schedules and her usual life. So it comes as no surprise to see her in outfits that would radiate happiness and positivity. We all know that bright colours serve as mood up-lifters and can always turn your frown upside down. Studies have shown that the clothes we wear can influence our state of mind. Haven’t you heard the saying, if you look good, you feel good? Now more than ever this statement stands to be true. Scroll on to see her latest bright and happy look.
Here’s a closer look at Malaika Arora’s fluorescent maxi dress:
Malaika Arora steps out in a dress that is brighter than sun and we cannot get enough of this feminine avatar. She wears a maxi dress from Alice & Olivia, the dress features and halter neckline with bustier darts till the waistline. It looks like the dress comes with a matching skinny belt and features delicate pleating details waist down that create the perfect flowy number. You could wear this dress to brunch, to the beach a sundowner and much more. What I do, however, love about the dress it the open back and criss-cross detailing that add a sexy touch to this flirty number. She accessorises her look with white flip-flops that have an oversized bow and a Louis Vuitton monogram tote bag.
Malaika Arora steps out with her hair pulled back into a low ponytail with middle-parted hair. Her eyebrows are always on fleek but this time she lines her eyes with a touch of kohl. Love that she pairs such a bright ensemble with a polka-dotted, white & black facemask. The print totally pops against the solid colour.
