Television actress, Malvi Malhotra, who is best known for her appearance on the show, Udaan, recently went through an unfortunate and traumatic incident. She was attacked by a stalker-producer outside her house with a knife three times for allegedly refusing his proposal. She is currently in Kokilaben Hospital undergoing treatment.
Speaking to ETimes in an interview, Malvi shared that she has undergone plastic surgery as the attacker tried to injure her face, but she managed to cover her face with her hands. She says that he has been following her since January and wanted to marry her, but she tried to avoid him. She says he used to arrive at her house announced and wait for hours.
She states to the publication that she will take 2-3 months to be alright, both mentally and physically, sharing that the fingers of her left hand aren’t moving because of the injury and that the knife stab on her stomach was about 1.5 inches deep.
Actress Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Malvi on Twitter recently, after she learnt of her attack. Malvi and Kangana belong to the same state and the Manikarnika actress reassured her that she is in support of her.
