Dia Mirza is an Indian model turned actress turned producer turned social worker. She wears many hats successfully and continues to achieve more along the way. In 2000, she won Miss Asia Pacific International and made her acting debut with Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein in 2001. After that, she went on to movies like Dum, Deewanapan, Dus, Lage Raho Munnabhai and many more. However, in 2018 she appeared in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju as his wife Manyata Dutt. The movie ranks among the highest-grossing Indian films. She also plays a pivotal role in Thappad opposite Taapsee Pannu which released earlier this year.
She will also be co-hosting a three-part series called #BharatKeMahaveer with Sonu Sood that will air on Discovery Channel. The show will pay recognition to India’s unsung heroes who have helped those in need during the pandemic.
Let’s take a closer look at Dia Mirza’s bohemian-inspired outfit:
Theia Tekchandaney styles Dia Mirza in an ensemble from Ritu Kumar. So, if you’re looking to spend the upcoming festivities at home and like me, you don’t invest in Indian wear. Then this look is perfect for you. The co-ord set features a crop-top with bell-sleeves and a maxi skirt with an angular hemline. What I love about this look is Ritu Kumar‘s signature paisley print and the coming together of colours. She styles her look with dainty, black strappy heels but if you were to wear this at home, you could pair the look with slides or sandals. She accessorised her look with a chunky, silver choker and silver earrings from Tribe By Amrapali. The addition of silver jewellery is what makes the look bohemian in its essence.
Firstly, I want to say that Dia Mirza did her own hair and makeup for this look, so that’s amazing. She opts for natural daytime tones as she plays around with a brown palette. Matte, nude lipstick, muted brown eyeshadow, flushed cheeks and filled-in brows complete her look. For her hair, she opts for wavy side-swept hair. I really like how her hair and makeup really add to the finishing touches of her look.
