Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to release his extravaganza Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the cinemas soon. But seems like Rohit has already kickstarted work on his next directorial venture with Ranveer Singh. Titled ‘Cirkus‘, the film is a screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, Comedy Of Errors.
The movie will go on floors in November. Ranveer will be seen playing a double role for the first time as he plays a pair of identical twins who were parted away from each other. The film will also feature Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.
While Varun Sharma will play an identical attentandant to Ranveer’s characters, Jacqueline and Pooja will be playing the latter’s love interest.
Presented by Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment, the comedy caper is slated for a winter 2021 release. According to a report by MidDay, sets are being erected at Mumabai’s Mehboob Studio. The film will travel to Ooty and Goa.
