Radhika Madan is the latest actor to have joined the debate about outsiders vs insiders. She says it’s really hard because you don’t have a ton of scripts lying about to choose from. The actress worries about her choice in unconventional films affecting her career. She talks about having lost films to star kids and was told she isn’t pretty enough. It was only after films like Angrezi Medium did she even have the freedom to choose her own films. Radhika made her debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s drama Pataakha but made a real impact with her role in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Her upcoming romantic drama Shiddat: Journey Beyond Love is slated for a web release this year. The film features Sunny Kaushal, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.
Here’s a closer look at Radhika Madan’s outfit:
Radhika Madan looks to be channelling a pretty retro vibe with her look. She opts for acid wash, short shorts with buttons that she pairs with an oversized denim jacket. She rolls her sleeves up for a more casual styling approach. I love the colour of the jacket and this it works perfectly in tandem with her shorts. Her shorts are a bit too snug I’m afraid but she still looks cute as a button. Radhika styled her look with a pastel pink tee with a quote in black. She accessorised her look with Adidas original sneakers that matched her tee and a pair of orange-tinted, rectangular sunglasses. The sunglasses added to the retro-ness of her overall look.
Radhika Madan left her hair open with natural waves and tops her look off with a light blue facemask. I think her looks is pretty accessible to every 20 something year old because these are the foundations to building a pretty solid closet. Shorts and an oversized jacket are must-have wardrobe pieces because they allow you the room to play around and wear them differently each time.
