Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is currently spending her time in London with husband Anand Ahuja. And if her latest outfits are anything to go by, Sonam is bringing out the fashionista in herself that she missed channelling back in India, courtesy of the virus. Elevating summer essentials and making them work as winter dressing to sporting noteworthy loungewear to decking up in party-appropriate outfits, Sonam is currently painting for us a sartorial fairytale. In MARIAM AL SIBAI
No combo like a black and white combo that’ll make for a guaranteed statement-making look. For outfit number 1, Sonam dressed in a white blouse with a wide V-neck featuring a crushed bow detailing. The actor paired it with a pair of black cigarette pants and topped it off with a lovely, full-length, black and white striped coat by MARIAM AL SIBAI. Black pumps, a black top-handle bag and golden hoops rounded off her extra chic look for the night. Beauty-wise, Sonam went with smokey eyes and a neutral lip with her tresses pulled back in a sleek bun.
Sans the overcoat, Sonam’s look is apt for nightouts in India when you want to keep it fun yet classy. Not only is it easy to recreate but is also fuss-free and cosy.
In Ralph and Russo
If you don’t already know, Ralph and Russo are the actor’s favourite designers. Which is mostly for red carpets but it comes as no surprise that they’re now making way into her loungewear wardrobe, too. For the designer duo’s virtual showcase, Sonam decked herself in a cosy sweatsuit by Ralph and Russo from their spring/summer 2021 collection. Cropped sweatshirt and well-fitted tracks—the suit was dipped in a cheery pink hue. A pair of white hoops and poppy coloured heels—powder blue, pink and yellow served as her accessories for the event. In the beauty department, Sonam jazzed up her look with muted pink eyes and a generous dose of eyeliner, while the rest of her makeup was kept neutral.
