Shahid Kapoor‘s Kabir Singh dominated the box-office last year. Though the glorification of toxic masculinity in the film raised many questions, his performance was loved by all. Now according to a report by MidDay, the Bollywood star, is set to foray in production with digital offerings.Since the past few months, the actor has apparently been in talks with leading streaming giant for a multi-project deal. Shahid, who has been considering turning producer for a while, is keen to bankroll one of the projects with the OTT platform. He has begun the groundwork to set up his studio.In 2019 reports were doing rounds that the actor was to turn to production with a biopic based on Manipuri boxer, Ngangom Dingko Singh. The reports also suggested that the actor had even acquired the rights for the film. However, the film with helmer, Raja Krishna Menon is yet to go on floors.On the acting front, Shahid Kapoor will be resuming shoot for his upcoming sports drama, Jersey. The schedule will be shot in Chandigarh. Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film will also star Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur among others.
