Senior actor Surekha Sikri is currently undergoing a health crisis. On Tuesday, the actor suffered a brain stroke, post which she was rushed to the hospital. Her family had requested for financial aid from her industry colleagues for her medical treatment.
Soon after, actors Sonu Sood, Surekha ji’s Badhaai Ho co-actor, Gajraj Rao and filmmaker Amit Sharma have assured to financially help her.
On Wednesday, Sonu replied to a doctor who tagged him in a post and asked the former to pay attention to a news story about Surekha ji’s health condition. He replied saying, “She’s doing fine now and in able hands. Thanks for the concern and wishes.”

The officials at the hospital shared that her condition is critical but stable as of now.
Talking to the Times Of India, actor Gajraj Rao said that he and Amit Sharma, the director of Badhaii Ho are in constant communication with the veteran actress’ secretary Vivek. He also assured that Surekha ji has their full support and are willing to help her as much as they can.
The veteran actress is known for her notable performances in Tamas, Mammo, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, Zubeidaa and daily soap Balika Vadhu.
