Aksh is an Indie Mashup star who is loved for his amazing covers on YouTube. The 24-year-old went viral for the first time in his Indian Edition of 1 Guy, 30 Voices. Here he demonstrated his wide voice range and absolutely amazed the internet. Aksh has over 2.5 million followers and has gone to achieve so much since he first started. He has had various stage performances and online videos in which he covered a massive range of genres by collaborating with accomplished singers like International artist, Lauv, Ananya Birla, Lisa Mishra, and many others.
The Hindi mashup of the English hit
This is a mashup of Love Somebody with Bollywood songs such as “Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage Hum”, and “Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera Dholna“. The mashup is so seamless, it almost sounds like an entirely new and original song. The song takes you into the homes of both the amazing musicians and gives the video a personal touch. The song is the perfect road trip track to enjoy with the windows down and uncontrollable hair. The video also includes some interesting insights about what Lauv’s idea was behind the video of Love Somebody. Lauv is a sweetheart! I wanted to make a Hindi version of his song because he told me he loves hindi music when we collaborated last year and also commented on my last year’s Hindi/English mashup of his song ‘I’m so Tired‘. When I started singing on the video call, the way he was vibing with the mashup was so special to me. We both had super fun doing this!
He even said that he would love to hear more of my music, which was very special and meant a lot to me coming from someone that I look up to.
At such a young age, so early on in his career, the talent has achieved so much. We are so happy to be exploring and sharing so much new talent and content with so much potential. We hope for many more such collaborations in the future!
