Janhvi Kapoor has been quite tied up on the work front with the release of her film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl followed by a showstopping entry at Manish Malhotra‘s show at India Couture Week 2020. The actor has been sailing through all of it from behind the scenes in comfort and style, thanks to her tasteful fashion choices. When it comes to off-duty dressing, Janhvi Kapoor makes it pretty clear that comfort is her first priority. She is versatile and edgy with her on-duty sartorial choices but when she’s not on duty, Janhvi prefers clothes that are easy-going and breezy. She oscillates between her trusted ethnic-wear and boho-chic dresses that are comfortable and subtle enough to lounge in but can make for good house party outfits. Or even sundowner parties. One such example is her recent outfit that she wore to her grandmother, Nirmal Kapoor‘s birthday celebrations that I am personally all gaga over. Scroll ahead for all the reasons why we love her latest outfit!
Janhvi Kapoor spruced up her on-the-go outfit with minimal accessories:
For a getogether with close friends and family, Janhvi picked a floor-grazing, white maxi dress from Grassroot by Anita Dongre. The all-white number was elevated with tonal embroidery and dainty lace work making it looking tiered and adding some volume to it. The strappy dress featured a soft V-neckline and was cinched at the waist making it a dress apt for days by the beach.
Keeping her look minimal—Janhvi’s go-to off-duty style—the actor skipped on any accessories leaving her dress to make that sartorial impact. Enhancing the beachy and balmy vibe of her outfit, Janhvi picked a pair of floral slippers and a floral mask. A black, white and yellow Off-white bag rounded off her look for the day. For her beauty, Janhvi left her wavy locks open and skipped on any makeup.
