Television actor Hitten Ttejwani is all set to feature in Star Bharat‘s Gupta Brothers Chaar Kunware From Ganga Kinare. The actor plays the character of Shiv Narayan Gupta, the eldest of the four brothers who have decided to not marry for life.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror about his character, Hiten said that Shiv is like a parent to his brothers, and how we manage they manage their home and lives without the women in their lives is the crux of the show. Hitten further added that in times likes these, they want to give the viewers a show that will bring on the laughs. Talking about the experience while shooting for the show, he said there were times when, after a shot, they all were rolling on the floor.
The actor however also clarified that the show is not anti-women. He said that there are people who don’t want to get married, and this not out of disrespect or they don’t like women but because they don’t feel the need to. The actor cited an example of Salman Khan and said that if he can be a bachelor so can they.
Hitten started shooting towards the end of July, but the team came to a decision that since they are working in a smaller team, it would be better to bank episodes before going on air on October 5.
