Deepika Padukone is one of the biggest stars we have in the country right now. Her beauty and acting chops are equally appreciated by fans all over the world and we always look forward to seeing her on-screen. But Deepika has been taking it slow and doing movies at a leisurely pace. Her last stint on the big screen was Chhapaak in which she played acid attack survivor Malti. The story was inspired by real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
Recently, the actor gave an interview to Nat Geo for their segment Mega Icon and was seen reminiscing about her school life. Surprisingly the actress revealed that she had no time to watch movies while she was in school and that she had a fixed schedule. Her routine was set in a way that she didn’t have time for anything else. She would get up at 5 in the morning, go for physical conditioning, and then attend school. As soon as she would finish school, there was no time to hang out with friends, but she would go home change, have a snack, and go for badminton training. By the time she would get back she would be so exhausted that she would just have dinner and fall asleep.
The actress also talked about how she would get special treatment in school because she was Prakash Padukone’s daughter. Her teachers would often say, ” We would have punished you but we’re big fans of your father.”
Deepika will next be seen alongside her husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan‘s ’83. She is also working on Shakun Batra‘s untitled film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
