Ever since the arrest of actress Rhea Chakraborty in relation by the NCB to the unfortunate death of her former boyfriend and actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, there have been many celebrities and netizens who have slammed the media trials levied upon her.
One such celebrity is Shweta Tripathi Sharma. The actress was recently in conversation with Times Now, where she opened up about her opinion on this matter. She stated that we need to have sympathy and empathy as a community and not jump into conclusions or comment on something we don’t know about. She says that on a human level, this is no way to treat another person, adding that if our empathy levels are not high, this in itself will become the cause for our end.
Shweta also spoke about how the case is being probes in relation to the use of drugs, which in turn is attracting accusations for the entire industry.
She says:
I think we should be in a place to comment if we know something, or if we can manage our own lives. I feel that we are unable to manage our lives and then we comment on others, the ones we don’t even know. We really have no right on things in the industry like, Kaun paani pi raha hai, kaun daaru pi raha hai industry mei, kaun drugs kar raha hain humanity kaha hai? So, even if some is doing something wrong, like Mahatma Gandhi said, if someone slaps you one the left cheek, you present them the right one.
On the professional front, Shweta was last seen in the Netflix film, Cargo, alongside Vikrant Massey. She is all set to star in the much-awaited second season of Mirzapur next, that is releasing next month.
