In the past few months, Bollywood and the entire film industry has lost some of its most iconic personalities that has left a gaping hole in hearts of their loved ones and fans. One such huge loss is that of actor Irrfan Khan. The legendary actor lost his battle to cancer in April this year.
His son, Babil Khan‘s Instagram account is something that manages to remind us of the lovely man and great artist Irrfan was, in the many posts and memories he shares. Babil is studying in the UK, and flew down to India amid the Coronavirus lockdown. But now, he is set to go back to college. Sharing a post about it, he wrote that it he is starting his next semester, and last time he left at the same time, his Baba was there. But this time, he says it’s ‘weird’ because he doesn’t have this father around him. Along with the note, he shared a picture of himself, along with two other pictures of him and Irrfan from the sets of Angrezi Medium. They are seen talking to each other and sharing a laugh.

Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium was Irrfan’s last film, which released in March. Taking to the comments section, Radhika Madan, who acted as Irrfan’s daughter in the film, sent lots of love to Babil. His mother, Sutapa Sikdar also wrote: “Go boy…conquer the heart and soul of people… May the raat Ki Rani fragrance show you the path always and steer you back home.”
Recently, after Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with cancer, Babil took to his Instagram to ask people to give him the privacy to feel better. He also said that Sanjay was one of the first people to come and offer help whl beard about Irrfan’s health. Read more about it here.
