What You’ll Need
200 ml Amul cream (room temperature)
1/4th cup of milk
3 potatoes
5 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
1 cup grated cheese
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
2 tbsp spring onion greens
Salt and pepper to taste
Here’s How You Can Put It All Together
Step 1: Mix the cream and milk together in a small saucepan.
Step 2: Peel the potatoes and slice them as thinly as possible. The thinner you slice them, the less time they will take to cook.
Step 3: Add the potatoes and the garlic to the cream saucepan. Start heating the cream on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Take it off heat.
Step 4: Start arranging the potatoes in layers in a baking dish. After two layers of potatoes are done, sprinkle half the green chillies and cheese.
Step 5: Repeat by forming 2 more layers of potatoes or till the potatoes are over. Pour the cream over the potatoes. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and green chillies over the potatoes.
Step 6: Cover the baking dish with a foil and bake in a preheated oven at 190°c for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake again for 20 minutes or till the top has browned.
Step 7: Sprinkle the spring onion greens over it and bake again for 5-7 minutes. Rest for 5 minutes before digging in!
