A few days ago we had exclusively informed you that actor Randeep Hooda had been admitted into the Breach Candy hospital on an emergency. We knew nothing else about his situation at the time, but over the course of the past few days, we’ve got to know from various reports across the internet that confirmed that the actor had to undergo immediate surgery. He was taken to the hospital because he complained of excruciating pain. But until now, it wasn’t clear what the surgery was for.
Now, a report in Peeping Moon suggests that the actor is well on the way to recovery after undergoing a major surgery for his knee. His father had accompanied him to the hospital. The actor had to undergo a mandatory rapid test for Covid-19 and tested negative for the same. The surgery for the foot was long and painful and hence lasted a couple of hours. Apparently it was from a foot injury that happened a couple of years ago while playing polo.
Randeep, as everybody knows, is an ardent fan of polo and has been at the forefront of talking about the sport ever since he came into the limelight. In one such polo sessions, the actor had injured his knee and recently it flared up again which is why the actor had to undergo immediate surgery.
His father had also given a statement saying that the actor is fine and will soon be home as he’s Covid negative and the surgery went well.
