Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of 43. His family and loved ones took to his Twitter and Instagram accounts to announce the devastating news of his death.
The actor breathed his last surrounded by his wife and family at his LA home. Chadwick was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago but he had never disclosed his diagnosis to the world. He had done many movies in between his multiple treatments and chemotherapy. A fighter through and through indeed.
Take a look at his family’s statement:
Chadwick first became popular for his portrayal of real-life basketball legend Jackie Robinson in 42 in 2013 and musician James Brown in Get On Up in 2014.
However, it was playing King T’Challa in Blank Panther that made him all the more popular.
Black Panther was the first superhero film to be nominated for the Oscars. He reprised his role as Black Panther in Marvel films like Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
