Katy Perry has welcomed her first child with fiance, Orlando Bloom. The pop star gave birth to a baby girl named Daisy Dove Bloom on August 26. The couple shared the news with UNICEF, the organization they serve as Goodwill Ambassadors for.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they said in a statement. UNICEF took to their Twitter handle to share the photo of the new parents holding their little baby girl’s hand. In the photo Katy Perry has a daisy painted onto her thumb.

Katy and Orlando had first made an announcement that they were expecting in the singer’s music video for her song for ‘Never Worn White’. While the singer is a first-time mum, her other half is already a father to nine-year-old Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
The famous parents got engaged in February 2019 after a years-long on-and-off romance.
