Looks like it’s raining biopics in Bollywood, we recently had Shakuntala Devi and Gunjan Saxena‘s biopics being released. Now filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has taken it into his own hands to make his own biopic. Who better to know him than himself, amirite?
The filmmaker took to Twitter to announce the news and gave his fans and followers all the details about the project within a series of tweets. He revealed that his biopic will be a 3-part series and is going to be very controversial. He also said that a new actor will play him in his 20’s in the first part and a different actor will play him the second part but in the 3rd part, he will play himself. The movie franchise will be of 6-hour duration with 2 hours running time per part.
He also said that the first part will be called Ramu, the second will be called Ram Gopal Varma and the third will be called RGV. The filmmaker also shared the title logo of Ramu.

The film will be produced by Bommaku Murali and will be directed by debutant Dorasai Teja. RGV will be writing and supervising the whole project. The film is set to go on floors this coming September.
