Actor Emraan Hashmi is all set to tickle the funny bones with a comedy film titled, Sab First Class Hai. The film will be helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, who has previously written scripts for films like Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan. According to a report by MidDay, the narrative of the film will revolve around the aspirations and dreams of a common man.
Talking about the film, Emraan said that the film will showcase greed and its intrinsic alliance with class disparities, through the lens of humour. He further added that the film is hilarious yet a sensitive one and showcases how the protagonist can go to great lengths to fulfil his needs. But in the bargain, he might lose his family, status in the society and finds himself stuck in a situation where he cannot find his way out. Describing the filmmaker’s script he said that it is a laugh riot and has its poignant moments as well.
Though the actor has to wrap up the shoot of Mumbai Saga, Emraan is planning on taking the comedy-satire on floors by the end of this year.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Mumbai Saga boasts an ensemble cast including Emraan Hashmi, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kajal Aggarwal and Suniel Shetty. It is a gangster drama that is set in the eighties and the nineties.
