Vidya Balan has had a rather busy schedule during quarantine. Vidya’s feature, Shakuntala Devi, that released a few days back kept her occupied with its e-promotions in the month of July. And Vidya was fixed on an ethnic style for the promotional activities. Especially sarees. Picking outfits that were crafted locally, the actor’s promotional kitty came with a whole bunch of balmy, summery sarees. Most recently, she was spotted in another noteworthy six-yard drape by Shivani Bhargava. The Chanderi silhouette featured a demure floral print painted using pastel shades of red and green. Scroll ahead for more details on her latest OOTD.
Vidya Balan’s head-to-toe printed saree is as summery as it gets:
Pastel hues, floral prints and a skin-complementing fabric—nothing screams summer more than this combo. And Vidya’s latest outfit is making us wish it was the season of shining sun, again! For an event for Shakuntala Devi, the actor wore a white saree with vertical, tonal stripes, juxtaposed with pastel red and green tulips. The silhouette featured intricate lace detailing on the border that was paired with a high, round-neck blouse in the same print.
Contrasting her pastel colour palette was her solid, sea-green tote bag with minimal threadwork in pink. Leaving her busy ensemble to do most of the talking, Vidya skipped on heavy accessorising and opted for dangly earrings and a dainty, black bracelet. In tandem with the outfit was her white facemask that came with pink paisley motifs. In the beauty department, the actress went with her signature low bun, pale pink lips and kohled eyes with hints of shimmery pink eyeshadow.
