After almost 5 months since the Coronavirus pandemic locked down the entire country, things are slowly coming back to normal. First, advertisement and television shoots opened up in local studios in Mumbai. Just last week, the whole team of Akshay Kumar starrer, Bell Bottom, flew to the UK to begin shoot. Following this, we also got news of actor Aamir Khan planning on resuming shoot of his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, in Turkey and Georgia.
It looks like he has left for the shoot of the film as fan clubs of the actor have been sharing images of his in the airport, donning a casual sweatshirt and a mask. He is seen posing for a few pictures with the fans and airport authorities.
Have a look at the pictures from one of his fan accounts:
Just before the lockdown hit, Aamir and his-star Kareena Kapoor Khan wrapped the Punjab schedule of the film. Post that, there were two big schedules in Ladakh and Delhi lined up. But due to the on-going military tensions between India and China along the Galwan border, the makers decided to call off the schedule in Ladakh and are reportedly shifting it to Kargil, which they are yet to decide.
While Aamir has left for this schedule, Kareena is still in Mumbai.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of the classic Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film was initially set to release in Christmas this year. But given many portions of the film are yet to be shot, it has now been pushed to next year.
I am super excited that work on the film is resuming again and can’t wait to watch Aamir in the film!
