Joey King has become everyone’s favourite lockdown girl-next-door thanks to the release of The Kissing Booth 2 during the global pandemic. But looks like the actress is rising to new heights with the next role that she has bagged. At least that’s what reports are suggesting.
According to reports in Deadline, Joey King has been cast as the leading lady opposite Brad Pitt in Bullet Train. The film is going to be directed by Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw director, David Leitch. While Joey’s character is still under wraps, earlier reports in Deadline hints at a possible storyline of the said movie.
In the Japanese novel, Maria Beetle, on which the movie is based, talks about five assassins on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to one another. The question becomes, who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?
This already seems like an interesting premise and the casting choice of Joey and Brad have got us all the more excited for this flick.
How cool would it be to see Joey and Brad as possible assassins?
