Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj‘s wedding has been one of the most talked about high-profile weddings in the current times. While the COVID-19 pandemic sure did rain down on their plans of a big, fat, Indian wedding, they have decided to have a low-profile, yet dream wedding on August 8th at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
A report in Times Of India states that the family of the couple are going all out to make sure the marriage abides by all the COVID-19 protocols and is safe for all their guests. They are going to have a bio-secure environment, where every person attending the wedding will be tested for coronavirus. They are going to have not more than 30 of their closest family and friends attending the wedding.
Speaking to the publication, Rana’s father, Daggubati Suresh Babu says that they will have every guest in the wedding test for COVID-19, as well as have sanitisers across the venue and maintain social distancing. He adds that it is a happy occasion and they want to make it a safe one too.
Bunty Bajaj, Miheeka’s mother, tells the publication that all the functions will take place according to the Telugu and Marwari customs. She also reveals that she and her daughter have a whole theme designed for the wedding, to be executed by a team from Delhi. She adds that she has two surprises in store for her daughter on her D-Day and can’t wait to see her reaction!
Both the parents also added that post the pandemic, the families and the couple will host a lavish party for all their extended family and friends to celebrate their marriage.
We are sure the wedding is going to be a special one and can’t wait for pictures on August 8th!
