Sushant Singh Rajput‘s unfortunate death by suicide has led to an investigation by the Mumbai police. But, while that was on-going, his father, K. K. Singh filed a complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, accusing her of abetment to suicide. Now, a team of police officers from Bihar have reached Mumbai to conduct investigations on the case.
But, in a tweet yesterday, the DGP of Bihar, Gupteshwar Pandey, alleged that the IPS officer who had reached Mumbai to probe Sushant’s death, Vinay Tiwari, has been forcefully asked to quarantine by the civic authorities in the city.
He wrote in his tweet:
IPS officer Vinay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 PM today. He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaon.
