Bhumi Pednekar worked as an assistant casting director at Yash Raj Films for 6 whole years before she turned to acting. The actress made her debut in Dum Laga Ke Haisha as an overweight bride in this romantic comedy. This role fetched her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Bhumi was last seen in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship at the very beginning of 2020. The actress is all set to star in Alankrita Shrivastava‘s comedy Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare opposite Konkona Sen Sharma. She will also star in Durgavati, a remake of the Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie as an IAS officer. Pednekar has also committed to featuring in Karan Johar‘s historical drama Takht. Her kitty seems pretty full already and we can’t wait to see more from the actress.
Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared on the cover of Cosmo India for their July issue, scroll on for more.

The curvy starlet admits to hating when people discuss her weight and skin colour. Bhumi admits she loves getting dolled up and is obsessed with makeup. She regularly shoots beauty routine videos but never put them up until recently. The actress even made everyone in her family gift her makeup products, I’m actually quite intrigued to find that she’s a makeup fiend. If she did her own makeup for this cover shoot then kudos because she’s actually done a pretty rad job at enhancing her gorgeous dusky features.
Look 1:
Bhumi Pednekar wore a ribbed, neon green co-ord set. A very on-trend look that we would normally see on the likes of the Kardashian clan. I love how the clothes playfully stand out in her terrace background filled with green and a gorgeous blue sky. Pednekar opted for neutral makeup, a bronze, glossy lip, contoured cheeks, strong, filled-in brows and a smokey brown eye.
Look 2:
In this look, Bhumi wears a bright, orange leather, wrap-top. The top features an asymmetrical, hemline, a plunging V-neck and a knot-front detail that adds to the textures in the look. She pairs this look seamlessly with a grey leather skirt. The actress kept her accessories simple and wore a pair of tiny silver hoops and a Daniel Wellington watch and bracelet. I love her nude nail paint, it makes her fingers look long and delicate.
Look 3:
In this close-up shot of Bhumi Pednekar, we only see her in black jacket of sorts. Wispy billowy hair that proves it was a breezy day. Her makeup stayed the same and the only accessory we see in this shot is the Daniel Wellington watch again. All in all the shoot was pretty simplistic in nature but still looked really lovely. Bhumi Pednekar looked like she was in her element and was all-smiles through the shoot. Overall it was just one of those happy shiny shoots that make a rainy day feel much better!
