Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 last month, and have been in Nanavati Hospital since, getting all the necessary treatment. Now, in some good news, Mr Bachchan informed that he had tested negative for the virus and has been discharged from the hospital.
Tweeting about it, Abhishek wrote that his father will be returning home. But, he also added that he will have to remain in the hospital for a little longer as he has a few other conditions in addition to COVID-19. He assured everyone that he will also return home, healthier.
He wrote:
I, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.
