Just a few days ago, it was reported that singer and actor, Naya Rivera, who starred in the famous American musical, ‘Glee‘, had gone missing. Now, it is reported that she was found dead near a lake in California on Monday.
Riveria was 33 years-old, and had gone boating with her 4-year-old son, Josey. According to a report by AFP, the actress is said to have accidentally drowned in the lake. The report also states that the Ventura County Sheriff, Bill Ayub, said that the strong currents in the lake could be the cause of the unfortunate accident.
Since Wednesday last week, there has been a massive search that was launched after officials found the boy sleeping on the boat, alone. The report also quotes the sheriff as saying that the son recalled that his mother helped him get back on the boat and “he looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water.”
